Moon Oryx Bakery sits at 8 River Road in Reykjavik. The room is small: a counter, a few stools, and the smell of crust more than décor. Hours run Wednesday through Sunday, 07:30–15:00; Monday and Tuesday we rest dough and staff.

Card and cash are both fine. Bags are paper; bring a tote if you are collecting several loaves. Please keep dogs outside the food area.

For cake consultations, midweek afternoons are calmer. Daily bread is first-come unless you pre-order. Questions land best at [email protected] or by phone during open hours.

Neighborhood parking is limited—walk or bike when you can. The bakery is built for short visits and warm bread under your arm.

Allergies and sensitivities should be mentioned at the counter if you need ingredient confirmation beyond labels. We bake in a shared kitchen; cross-contact risk exists even when we are careful. That honesty is part of visiting Moon Oryx with clear expectations.
